| It's getting close to that time of year again. I was wondering what was the best site/way to download NHL games. I finally got around to getting a new laptop so I'm ready to roll. My life in Korea is pretty good but I really miss CBC's HNIC. I even miss Don Cherry!! I apologize in advance if there has been a posting on this before. I tried this search engine but didn't find anything. Thanks. |

The NHL games are shared using the bittorrent protocol so you'll need a torrent client like utorrent or azureus. I recommend utorrent.

The downloads originate from this website.

Are you sure it's NHL games you're looking for? 
If you live in Seoul, you'd better get you a$$ over to the Canadian bar in Itaewon. It's called The Rocky Mountain Tavern. They usually show some of the play-off games. |

| If you want to live stream the games, sign-up for www.streamtvnow.com. It costs a little but is worth it. You can make requests for the games you want to see and they usually will play about 5 to 6 a day. They have a lot of other live sports and shows as well. |

| Anyone know much about jumpTV (internet TV)? I looked at it quickly and there aren't any N. American stations. Heard a bit on ROBtv (Cnd biz channel) the other day, will try to re-listen later. |

| www.nhl.com , just listen to them on the radio and get the video highlights from that site or www.tsn.ca . I'm an Oilers fan in St John's so I listen to Edmonton games all the time, even from here. It is interesting to note, of all the major sports, the NHL is the only one that still allows internet broadcasts of their games. |

Yeah, the radio's not bad and the highlights are usually pretty comprehensive.
At least I had a good last live game to tide me over, but I'm really starting to miss it now that the rookies are playing...almost camp. |

Do they really? Are all the teams available? I try to listen to Jays games through the FAN590 website and they are blocked. Anyay, I lost a lot of interest in baseball a couple years before the Expos moved. |

Yep, every team, including Spanish-language feeds for teams that do them (they used to have French-language for the Expos). It's about $16 for the entire season, every game from every team, and I think you can pay less for just one team's games. Home and away are available for all games.
MLB.TV is also quite good, I've watched a few games with no buffering interruptions and high quality. But that's like $35/month and some of those games are blacked out. |

| my bad dude, I was talking for free. The NHL feeds are free of charge. The NBA has a pay service also I think which I may look into depending on how the Raps start the season. |
