My school decided it was a good idea to cancel my classes and take me out to drinking (shiksa) today due to my birthday. I love my school Wink

EDIT, I will leave the bolded part in. Please reread the sentence and figure out how that happened Wink

That was nice of them. After my first contract with my school, I planned a going away party with my co-workers. We went to the outback steakhouse. Just as we were finishing our meal, big boss shows up and pays for the whole thing. There were over 30 of us there.

We were in contract negotiations, and that just about settled the deal for me. I have been with them for 4 years now, and will continue for a few more.

Isn't it amazing how the little 1 percenters can make all the difference?
Wish more bosses understood this in Korea.

Sorry. It's a one foreign teacher school (and even then I only work 17 periods out of my contracted 25)...

To everyone else, thanks Smile
