I was wondering how far it was from Suwon bus terminal to the WC stadium.

It takes 10-20 minutes to drive (taxi) and about 5-7k won - depending on traffic. Traffic sometimes gets pretty backed up by the dong Suwon (dong Suwon sa ga ri) intersection because of construction. |

| You might be better off, getting off at Hwaseo station, the station b4 Suwon and walking/getting a taxi. |

| I know the subway is closer, but I'm not coming from Seoul so I have to come by bus. Any one know bus numbers from bus terminal to WC stadium? |

There is NO direct bus from the express terminal to the WC statium.
You can catch a bus to suwon station and then transfer to a 720, 720-1 or 720-2.
or
You can catch a #300 from the in front of Migliore department store and get off at the east gate of the wall (pook-mun). From there it is about a 1 km walk east on the main road then turn south for about 500 meters. Just follow the signs.
or
Alternatively catch the bus to "dong suwon sa ga ri" - get off just before the intersection, walk around the corner and transfer to the 720-2. It goes past Aju university and makes a stop at the stadium. You can also catch the #720.
This is a lot of fooling around and will cost about 2300 won (300 bus is w1400?). It is easier to walk out the front door of the Migliore department store (attached to the bus station) and just grab a cab. They will understand "World Cup stadium."
Taking the bus will be about 1 hour or longer and you only save 3000 won ($3.00) over taking the cab. Catch a grey, yellow or white cab. Don't take a black one (deluxe taxi - they are 2x the price). |
