My employer certainly seems to think so.

No way. It should be stipulated in your contract that National Holidays are off in addition to your regular 2 weeks of. Tell you employer to check with the Labor Office, if not you do it.

If I understand you question correctly: You should receive a certain number of vacation days per year (this may be ten, fourteen or more, depending upon your contract). These should be IN ADDITION to national holidays. Many contracts say "ten days of vacation PLUS all national holidays." It depends upon how your contract is worded. Post it, someone will help you out in more detail.

It just says 10 days holiday - no mention of Nationals - I know they try to deduct nationals from teachers as they have done it to everyone who has left in the past - just wondering what I can do about it.

God I'm sick of Korea right now lol.

Huh? Isn't "IN ADDITION TO" and "PLUS" same thing? It's same in mathematical term...... Shocked
