As I'm entirely unable to contact any Korean ISPs, I'm wondering if anyone knows whether theres typically download limits on broadband accounts in Korea?

I kinda dont want my first bill to unwittingly be a billion won. Confused

If there are any, they're usually pretty damn generous.

Get a co-worker or friend to check it out for you.

Or post the link to your provider here and I'm sure someone will be more than glad to help.

I have never known there to be a limit ( or I would have exceeded it long ago) on a normal broadband account for downloading. If you are using cable (hooked with your TV) there are limits on UPLOADS. For example you can't run a web server on a cable hookup.

I have never had a problem on any kind of DSL. There is a throttle that limits bandwidth (speeds) but you can max out within your lmits on uploads or downloads..

I don't know about nespot wireless connections. They MAY, depending on your account, have a limit.
