I gotta agree. The wife and I have started to watch it almost religiously. My buddies and I never swore like that, even in our heyday. Fucking this and fucking that. He can be a bit much, but he usually solves the nightmares. |

One of my favorite shows in those months prior to coming to Korea (Spring/Summer 05). Tuned in every time and even videoed it, which is remarkable for me.
I'll tell you one thing though, folks......I often wondered whether some of them were fakes. Anyone remember the one where the guy - utterly hopeless tw*t he was - who had an "A1 Chef" private reg plate for his BMW? Cheesy, I felt.
Brilliant program though. Sadly my fave shows in recent years have included successful millionaire guys humiliating poorer members of society (Gordon Ramsey and Simon Cowell) - it's not very nice really. |

I'm not sure, but that may have been the guy who also had never made an omelet before. I'm not sure about the fakeness though. He's come back and guys have quit - not surprising considering what they have to put up with him in the kitchen. Another time the owners had gone *beep* up by the time he returned. |

Used to watch this back in Canada. I rarely swear but after a hit of this, I wanted to go out and start dropping the f-bomb around.
The guy is a genius though and does get results. |

a few years ago, i had the pleasure of going to a corporate show where sir gordon was demonstrating some equipment along with two assistants.he was so rude to them that they both walked off.
to this day he is a benchmark for the catering industry in the u.k.
from ex footballer ( rangers ) and pastry chef to owning the only restaurant ouyside of spain with four michelin stars.
i'd hate to work with the man though!!
keep an eye out for his restaurant manger.french to the point i thought he was taking the p***. |
