The kids are running their 100m races as i speak!!

None of them have had any exercise for a year!

The guy fires the starting pistol every 2 seconds, before the previous race has even finished!

Nobody is taking any note of who wins the race anyway!

One kid has tripped and is trampled by the runners that are right behind him!

99% of the day involves lengthy speeches and loudspeaker music. The actual sports fill about 10 mins of the entire proceedings!

At my sports day last week I was pitted up against a hapkido master who is one of my kids dad's in the 100 meter race. I was out there in my usual work clothes, this guy had on a tracksuit and running shoes with spikes. There were over 100 parents watching and the guy looked pretty pumped, he looked at me and laughed actually as i'm a pretty big guy and he looked built like a whippet.

I decided to ham it up so i did 4 false starts then on the 5th time, ran 50 meters backwards then hopped the other 50. Everyone laughed so that was cool. I got a prize for coming second out of 2 as well.
