I think Namdaemun market may be the best spot to buy Levi's for no more than 60,000 won, but I'm not sure. I think you need to go there before 6 pm and not on Sundays, but not quite sure. Anywhere else to buy them without paying a fortune? (I'm in Bundang)

Dongdaemun has a decent selection. I have bought some in Doota for 30,000 to 40,000 won. They have been pretty good quality.

Levi's for 60,000 won? Are you talking about fakes or the real thing?

There are used Levis in Dongdaemun for 25k. Pretty good quality too, as in no rips or tears. Sizes from 28 to 38 if i remember correctly.

They need to be Levi's?

You've probably done this already, but did you try 2001 Outlet in Migeum? I usually bought their "Dayson" brand clothes, and they were quite cheap (if you're not looking for Levi's).

On the second floor they have brand name items like Nike, Le Coq Sportif, Abercrombie and Fitch, and there's probably a Levi's section. Give that a try.

Thanks for the heads up people. The last pair I bought in Seoul were in Namdaemun a few years ago. There's an area where they sell American miltary clothes and other stuff, including good Levi's for under 60,000... one can usually negotiate a few grand discount. From what I recall the sellers would pack up around 6 pm every day, and a friend of mine said Sundays are no good at all. Sometimes there are 'black market' type stores that can get you things like this too, if one is fortunate enough to find such a store not too far away.

I'll check out the 2001 outlet. They don't have to be Levi's, that's just the only decent one I know for sure. Probably check around Dongdaemun when I get a chance too.

I recommend the United States! You can get them for $28-$40 in most stores. If you really need cheap Levi's, PM me and we can work out a deal for me to have them sent to you in your size as a gift in appreciation for having given me an equivalent amount of money. Get my drift? Wink

VF in Wyomissing. $14.00 for Wrangler or Lee. Care packages are cool.
