You didn't read ALL the rules about Dave's did you?
If you had you would know that this sort of information is too sensitive to disclose to new members until after they have been here for one FULL week. You joined on Sept. 14.
You will not be qualified to handle this information until the EVENING of the 20th.
Please be patient.
(In the meantime, please re-read all the rules. IOW, don't ask what a sock is until the end of your 3rd week.) |

Ha haaa!! Yes, and next, someone will post that you should learn to use the "Search" function.
But, didn't I see MarionG on the list for intensive newbie training?
I'll fast track this and disclose:
Gyopo/Kyopo referes to someone whose ethnic background is Korean, but he/she was born or lives abroad. For instance, someone whose parents are Korean, a "Kyopo" is Korean but born in Canada, the U.K., Australia, the USA, etc.
Actually, techinically, any Korean born in Korea who moves abroad is called 1st generation Kyopo by Koreans, and Korean children born abroad are 2nd generation Korean... This differs from Western terminology for 1st generation, which means the 1st generation children of immigrants.
And, don't confuse Kyopo with Kyobo, the Korean chain of bookstores carrying English books.
Good luck with your Dave's ESL training! |
