| I am an US citizen and was told I do not have to pay korean tax or US taxes upto $75,000 as long as I was brought over to teach and don't stay longer than 2 years. Is this correct. |

I believe that's only if you work in a public school, not a hagwon. But I may be wrong. I'm sure others on here will have the correct info. Your best idea is to contact the IRS and ask them.
