Just curious if Seoul is inordinately violent towards foreigners. I've never had a violent thing happen to me or friends in Daejeon or Deagu. It seems like a lot of anti-US, pro-North stuff comes out of Seoul, but that's from a very general observation on my part. So I'm curious. Is Seoul the hot-bed for foreigner hatred by Koreans?

This poll is going to end up with "Seoul (Metro area)" as the clear winner as more people are in Seoul, especially on the weekends. What we need are real life statistics comparing population to number of attacks.

Another problem with the poll is multiple people could know (or have known) the person that was attacked. I'm not sure if this poll will give very accurate information.

Also, what if you were involved in the attack, but on the side of the Koreans?

I was once attacked in Seoul while walking down the street. A women accousted me and then proceeded to pull me into a small bar. She kept telling me that she wanted to talk. A claim I later learned to be quite untrue. It was a pretty tough experience for me...

There are more people living in Seoul so of course the instance of this happening will be higher there.
