I am looking for an English speaking doctor in the Suji/Young In/ Ori station area. Can anyone recommend one? Just a general GP would be fine.

I can't help you with a doctor near that station, but I can recommend the doctors at Severance Hospital next to Yonsei University. The head doctor, John Linton, is American. The hospital was the first "foreign" hospital in Seoul and claims it is has the best technology.

The Medical Referral Service can point you in the right direction. Medically qualified English speakers are available 24 hours a day.

First, call 010-4769-8212.
If there's no answer, call 010-8750-8212.

There's one in Migeum and one in Jeongja. Don't know anything about Ori.

Migeum: Don't remember the subway exit, so somebody can help me out. It's in the building with the Dunkin Donuts on the corner. Not the Dunkin Donuts by Subway sandwich shop, the other one. If you're at the main intersection in Migeum, get on the intersection with Paris Baguette on the corner. Walk down the street, toward the Steff Hotdog. At the end of the block is the Dunkin Donuts . . . the doctor's office is on the 3rd floor, last door on the right. The receptionists don't speak English, but the doctor can manage.

Jeongja: Again, forget the subway exit, but get out and walk down the street, away from Wa Bar and Dunkin Donuts, like you're walking toward Sunae. On the next block you'll see The Bundang Clinic (La Clinique Bundang, or something) . . . it's a big building and there's a large sign on the side of it. It's next to POLY School, Avalon hagwon, and the Jaguar dealership. You'll want to go to the 3rd floor.

I go to one in sunae. It's across the road from the lotte dept store. He is in a building that looks quite run down and honestly his office doesn't look the best but....he gets the job done and he is cheaper than going to a hospital about 3,000 won with insurence.

Directions: Go to lotte dept store. Take the stairs to the 2nd level. Go outside walk across the overpass. There is a building with a pizza restaurant in it( I think etang). walk past this building and you will get to another building with a pet clinic and pharmacy. He is on the second floor. good luck

Thanks, but more specifically where can I find Dr Lipton? I want to find a western doctor, because I'm not sure if I have faith in a Korean doctor who believes in Fan Death!

Yonsei Severance Hospital:

Shinchon Station, look on the neighborhood map for Yonsei. Walk down that street until you come to a large T intersection. You'll see the hospital up and to your right. Just follow the crowd and look for signs for the foreign clinic.
