We seem to have a refrigerator bandit on the loose. I've lost a whole Baskin Robbins Ice Cream Cake, a drink that was a gift from a student, and a gift from the VP in the last few weeks. Does anyone else have this problem?

I have witnessed this more often than I would like to admit. The easiest way to solve this problem is to put a note on each item of yours with your name on it. If it is clearly labeled, then others (Korean staff) generally won't take it. Don't take it personally though, they don't do it to be mean. Sharing food is simply a way of life in this country.

Thats what I'm saying....a whole cake??!!

Also, I am the only person that takes their lunch to school, so I really don't want to be missing my lunch one day. I don't care where you are from, its rude to take other people's stuff. If there were 10 bottles of juice in there, I wouldn't mind because then it looks like they are for the "community." But when people are taking my one bottle, its not OK.

I know exactly what you mean. Yesterday I brought in some raspberry/blackberry tea. I have a 7:40 non-credit class...the people usually need a little pick me up. So I bought this expensive stuff, wrote my name on it and when I came in this morning all of it was gone. There was 20 packs...I used 4 yesterday. Someone in the office is a thieving SOB.
That's at a university where people make pretty good money. I'd hate to see what it's like at a hogwan where the pay is crap.
