If we have enough time, my girlfriend and I are looking at spending some time in Vietnam over the holidays.
Anyone else done this?
I am doing research now, and I am wondering how to go about getting the visa. We're American citizens.
Is it as easy as going to the embassy in Seoul and purchasing one? What else should we know as we prepare for the trip? Thanks |

5 or 6 years ago when I did this it was very easy. We actually went through "With-Us Travel" in Seoul (saw their ad in a newspaper and found out they specialize in travel to Vietnam). They got us our visas, tickets and even 5-star hotels (for $40 USD a night!).
Absolute fun!!!! |

Yes, you can get the visa from the Vietnamese embassy in very little time for 67,000. Slightly cheaper (60,000) if you go through a travel agent, plus they can book you a flight. Easy as pie. |
