I'm thinking of heading to Japan for a weekend, mainly to hear some good music. Can anyone recommend some sites to get the low down on what's happening over there music event wise? I'm mainly looking for electronic parties but any info would be appreciated.
And yeah...I realise this should maybe go in the Travel forum but I figure I more likely to get a response here.

| on a similar note.. can any japanophiles (is that a word?) recommend some japanese music in general? i mean rock, hip-hop, dance, whatever. someone introduced me to a great band called the brilliant green recently, and that got me wondering if japan might be a treasure trove of awesome music that i'd never heard of before. |
