ok ok....i'm having so many difficulties here. First my internet magically is unplugged even though noone touched it....according to my puter Rolling Eyes

I'll figure that one out on monday when I call the internet guy.

But now msn messenger won't work. I can't get the hotmail page to come up....and now I get a message blocking me from "adult" content sites.......is this because of the wireless net i'm using?

Darn, that must be really annoying ... I'm not sure how I broach that situation with the IT help guys and girls.

.".. so google and yahoo work fine, but when I try wet-hot-asians.com ... I get this message blocking me access .... Sad "

If you're internet is unplugged, then you're not going to be able to surf anything on the net. However if you do have access, then you most likely have some mega-spyware and trojans on your computer. Mostly likely caused by surfing porno sites with IE. You've got the bits and bytes version of STD's dude ... remember - only surf porn on a site you truly love and can be faithful to ... Wink

Sure, there may be other sites that turn your head from time to time. And leave you in a wishful, horny trance. But nothing beats the feeling of coming home after a hard-days work and having something steady like petiteteenager.com to warm ones monitor.

You might try adaware or some other anti-spyware stuff that some of the other guys on here can recommend to you. Even better, do a complete reinstall, grab yourself a firewall, anti-virus and the firefox web-browser and start all over again. Also, keep your AV, firewall and firefox updated, be very careful about which links you press and about downloading anything to your system.

For ten marks out of ten though, if all you do is surf the internet and maybe use a little word processor and couldn't be bothered becoming a part-time sysadmin just to keep your computer clean. You'd be much better off IMO, grabbing a copy of Ubuntu and installing that as your OS. As long as you don't get too adventurous - you'll find it easy to use. And it's as safe as houses for any surfing you might wish to do... You could probably flog your windows XP to some poor soul on here I'd imagine. Or maybe even run it as a client system in your Ubuntu machine ...
