does anyone know if any of the ryder cup is going to korean tv???

hopefully one of the sports channels will show it

its going to be very close this year, but think the USA will edge it. Tiger's recent form might be enough to swing it.

Yet he's not always top form in match play, as the recent tourney against Shaun Michaels showed.
One of the golf channels should be showing it, though don't know about times.

Actually, I think Europe's the favorite going in. They have a lot more experience this year. The American team is going through a transition right now. They have some young rookies coming in to replace some of the old guard (ie: Davis Love). On top of that, they're playing on their own turf (links golf). I have to give the edge to the Europeans this time around. But, you never know. Anything can happen in match play. That's why it's so much fun to watch.

Too bad for you Jinju, it is a sport and it will be on the sports channels here in korea and countless countries worldwide.

J-golf channel(KBS ?) and SBS golf have been showing older ryder cups in the past two weeks so I am certain it will be on both live and repeats.

I also think the Euro's are favorites, they have won three of the last four I believe, how can someone not consider them favourites?

The US team is changing but I think the new blood is going to be good for them. The europeans always seem to be more of a "team". Mr. Woods is trying to change that and i think now that Davis is gone it will become evident that Tiger will be the leader.

Who wins??? Not sure but I am going to have fun watching.

Anyone going to watch the Kolon Open this weekend in Cheonan? World # 6 Retief Goosen and long hitting Bubba Watson are in the field here in Korea at Woo Jeong Hills CC.

I am likely going on Sunday with a couple other friends. PM me if your interested.

Too each his own Jinju,

I have had the opportunity to play the sport at a high level and I can appreciate the skill and athleticism it takes to play well like the pros do.

If you don't like it or don't think its a sport thats your opinion and you are entitled to it.

Jinju, I'm starting to get the feeling that you don't like golf. I'm just reading between the lines on a few subtle hints you've dropped here and there.
Translation: "Here and There" being about 50 times on 4 different threads..........O.K., We get it!! You hate golf!! You don't think it's a sport!!
For my part, I'll say this only once........You don't know what the f*ck you're talking about.

Obviously the little whiner has (choose a couple)

a)tried to play golf but failed miserably and now takes his hate for it out on a message board for those of us who can play

b)can't afford to take up the game so spits his venom at those of us who can

c)can play a bit but always gets beat by a woman

d)hates any sport that many Canucks enjoy ie hockey, football, golf etc

e)can't find clubs short enough

f)hates a sport where you can't rely on team mates to help you win

g)is simply a troll who has no life and enjoys stirring the pot with whatever goes against the grain.

Now back to the great SPORT of golf. I went to the Kolon Open last year to watch Mike Weir and was the only foreigner there other than a few of the golfers and Mike Weir's manager who I ended up spending a couple of hours with following Mike as he blew his lead unfortunately.
Anyway, I'll be there Sunday so if I see other foreigners I'll say hi.
As for the Ryder Cup-the US has some questionable players on it who are gonna have to play lights out to beat the Europeans. It should be good
