The first week of October there are two hoildays. October 3rd is Consitution Day (If I remember correctly) and Chuseok is October 5 & 6th and 7th (although the 7th is a Saturday).

How many days are you getting off NOT counting vacation days you are planning to take?

I'm off that whole week. Not taking any vacation days, so I'll have off from Saturday through the next Sunday.

Saturday 30th to Sunday 8th, without taking any vacation days. The school is closed all that time.

Yes I am.
I've already had more vacation days this semester than I had all last year at my hagwon.

I'm coming in to work on Monday and Wednesday. But in exchange, I'm getting Sept 25 and 26th off to travel to China before it gets busy.

I'm getting the week off as well. Yet another reason why public schools are better than (many) hakworms.

I'll work on the Monday but will take the Wednesday off. My university kids are mostly going back to their hometowns, so it'll only be the local students who'll make it to class on wednesday.. no point in getting ahead on the syllabus with most of the students missing.

Two weeks after Chuseok is midterms, so a whole week off! Assah!

I get the entire week off as well. What I didn't know is that the 28th is the school's "birthday" and will be closed that day as well. It's not really the day the school started, but I think it was put there to pad the days we already had off.

Including weekends 10 days

This poll could really use another option - 'I don't have a bloody clue, really, and will find out when it happens'.

I have the Friday before (Sept 29) off for Sports Festival Day Very Happy , then Tuesday, Thursday and Friday of Chuseok week, followed by one day of working (Monday) then 4 days off for mid-term tests. Basically two weeks.

I am going to try and endure it.

I could take off the Monday and Wednesday if I wanted to, but I'm making them attendance optional and I'll have some informal stuff prepared for the students who come.
