I want to go and visit friends in Singapore for Chusok but the travel agents I've heard back from say all flights are full. I didnt think Singapore would be a popular destination
Anyone had any luck getting a seat??
I guess I could try flying somewhere close like Kuala Lumpar.

KL is a good plan and either air asia it to johor or singapore, failing that it's only a 4 or 5 hour (comfortable) bus ride from there. a large chunk of people with reservations already will cancel a week or so before the flight date so if you're really desperate check back then.
you could even fly to bangkok actually and get a cheap flight from there to Sing.

I have a flight to Singapore on Singapore Air during Chusok. Of course I booked my flight about 4 months ago ^^.

Oh yeah, I'm not even going to Singapore, I'm just stopping over on my way to Paris.

Well I can get a flight to Singapore for the week over Chusok but its ridicuously expensive at 900,000W!! ouch

It can be done. Seats are still left for Chuseok on Shenzhen Airlines. Should be way less than 900,000.

I just checked it on amadeus.net and its shows economy seats still available THROUGHOUT Chuseok week.

Flights:
ZH9788 Incheon to Shenzhen (1855-2125)
ZH795 Shenzhen to Kuala Lumpur (2155-0130)

ZH796 Kuala Lumpur to Shenzhen (0800-1130)
ZH9787 Shenzhen to Incheon (1420-1840)

You can catch a train from KL to Spore for about $24 dollars (5hrs) oneway with several departures daily. But I'd get onto it ASAP to nail down a seat.
