The great blues guitarist Etta Baker has died at 93 while taking a trip to visit a daughter who had suffered a stroke. Here's a link:

She was playing up until her death. In reading the obit I learned that she quit her factory job at the age of 60 to tour as aprofessional musician. I hadn't realized that.
