Hello... I'm planning a trip somewhere in S. Asia in January... Having only spent time in E. Asia in Japan and recently Korea, I have no idea what countries in S. Asia are the "best" places to visit in January (ore anytime) ... I want tropical beaches, of course, and not a hoard of tourists about... Scuba diving would also be a plus.... I'm thinking Thailand, Phillipines, Vietnam, Fiji?? Any comments from experienced travelers to any of these areas, or other desireable spots within reasonable access to Korea, would be quite appreciated! Thanks in advance!

January is the best time of year on the Andaman Sea part of Thailand. Phuket, Krabi, Phi Phi, Khao Lak - all will be great. Sunny, hot, no rain.
