I am looking for a copy of Windows XP (preferrably pro) in English. A used to burnt copy will work just fine. Does anyone know where to buy it? I heard it is available in Yongsan, but I all I could find were $200 retail versions available.
Can anyone give me some info where to buy it?
Thanks |

Just use your favorite peer to peer program, download it and burn it. Takes about an hour.
You can use torrents. Limewire is also easy for the neophyte (www.limewire.com).
If you want a legal copy you can get an OEM version of winXP-home, SP2 for about 110k won at the Microsoft kiosk (7th or 8th floor of Yeongsan station). Look for the big MS sign. |

| Saturdays anywhere on the street in Yongsan for W15,000 for a ripped off one - or during the week in the (fully-lit) tunnel that goes under the tracks...the man has a laptop set up and a gazillion files ready to copy - same price. |

| It seems to me that any copy of Windows XP can be made to use English as the default language. All you need to do is install the multi language support pack. I am not 100% sure that this is true. However, I have done this with both a Thai and Korean copy of MS Office. Maybe someone who actually knows can confirm or reject. |
