| Any information on Guro as a place to live/work? Is it a nice area? Large? Small? Parks? Supermarkets? |

Which area are you looking at?
Used to live out there once upon a time. The place is changing pretty quickly and it really depends on where in Guro you live. Historically, the area was a factory/industrial district so it certainly has a reputation for coalsmoke and coarse behavior.
Still, though, I like the place. I still visit over there and find it to be a very energetic area with a sense of direction. The area around Guro Digital Complex Station is probably improving the most rapidly.
If you're on subway line 2, you'll be close to Sillim, Boramae Park, Hongdae, etc. Line 1, of course, puts you in a fairly convenient location as well. |

| Like the above poster says, it was well known for it's "industrail flavor" (ugly), now it's getting a little better though. |

| I live near Gaebong Station in Guro... um, it's not hideous or anything, but definitely still has that industrial flavour. It's a fairly convenient location, at least if you happen to live close to a subway station. There are a few parks and a few big department stores which should take care of all your major supermarket/shopping-related needs. |
