Hi,
My toilet wouldn't flush last week and so I tried to plunge it about a million times without any luck. On saturday my boss got a plumber to come over to fix it for me. The problem was not my fault, the toilet can not handle much toilet paper but I was no made aware of this before the plumbing problem occured. I have lived in the apartment for 5 months with no other plumbing problems before.
My boss charged me for the plumber and I don't feel that it's my fault so therefore I feel that I shouldn't have to pay.
This isn't a big deal but it was quite expensive.
My questions is, should I make my boss pay for it or is it down to me even though I wasn't aware? |

changed my tune.
How much is quite expensive?
More than 100k?
If so, find out why it was so much.
If not, suggest offering to pay half... |

i feel your pain. it must really suck to have a clogged toilet, but then again: you lived there for 5 months and suddenly you had a clogged toilet that 'couldn't take so much toilet paper' and you think you had nothing to do with it?
Sorry to wake you up but i think that unless someone else used your toilet, then it's your problem to take care of.
Have you never, in your 5 months here, ever did a #2 with that toilet?
How long have you been in Korea? I'm sure you have seen those nasty little toilet bins with used TP in them and also heard that "most" toilets can't handle lotsa TP.
Being a tenant, you have certain rights but also obligations, meaning that you must maintain and even pay to get some things fixed. |

| In Korea the renter is responsible for those costs. You probably have to pay. |
