She was practically dragged to class by her mother despite needing to study for the big middle school tests.

And I gave a pretty interesting class as well.

If you can do it without hurting your class or getting in trouble with your boss, cut her slack and let her study for her exams...

I hate this time of year. Even though I'm teaching from The Book and they're being tested on it this week, they're still falling asleep and doing other things (subjects).

I !CRUSHED! a grade 3 class this morning for it. I know they're stressed out, but me standing there, talking to thin air, drives me nuts.

There's nothing more depressing than standing there trying to teach English to a student who's busy trying to memorise a list of English vocabulary she'll have forgotten next week, is there?

I let the girl do her thing, that was to moan and groan and make my other students feeling a little uncomfortable. She gave me the rolled eyes many times so I guess she didn't want to be there.

Kids, you just got to take a deep breath and let them grow.

The obvious choice is simple. If she rolls her eyes at you, then roll them right back. I think she might need them later.
