Has anyone ever gone on an E-2 Visa run to Bangkok?

Or even been to the Korean embassy there?

Directions and other info would be appreciated.

Been there, done that twice.
Drop-off hours are 1:30 - 3:30. Pick up hours are between 10:30 - 11:30 the next day, unless its a public-school position (ie no visa confirmation number) or a C4 visa. In that case, its not the next day, but the day after.

You can walk to the embassy from the MRT. The station you get off at is Thailand Cultural Centre, and you take **exit #3**. From the exit you take a right and walk straight to the intersection (about 3 minutes). On your left you will see Carrefour and Robinsons Dept store. At that awkward-looking intersection, take a right. It will seem like you are doing a U-turn. Just follow the road around as it snakes to the left. Your embassy will be on the left side of the road, and its about a 15-20 minute walk altogether from the station.

**exit #3** I may be mistaken here. Whats important is that you should be able to look right and see the two big department stores across the street.
