I had a horrible dream. The dream starts this way: I'm in church talking to my pastor Rev. Roy. I must be drunk in the dream because I'm talking all kinds of crap.

"Because of you, Rev. Roy, I no longer fear the devil. He is a liar and a cheater and a killer, and his only friends are snakes and scorpions."

Rev. Roy puts his finger to his lips in a nervous fashion. "Ssshhh! Sometimes he listens!"

"Who?"

He keeps his fingers to his lips and looks down. Rev. Roy looks scared.

Next thing I know I'm in my house. There's a stranger sitting on my sofa. He has horns and a goatee.

"Lucifer?"

He looks at me. "That's right."

I'm shaking in my boots. "What are you doing here?"

"Well, I heard through the grapevine that you've been talking a lot of crap about me. You know, I'm a liar and a killer and that I hang out with snakes and scorpions. So you got a problem with me, brough? Then why don't you say it to my face, and we'll settle it right here."

"Look, sir, I didn't say a word. I swear it."

"Really? That's not what Rev. Roy says."

"Rev. Roy?"

He then grabs me by the back of my neck, forces me to the floor, and starts rubbing my face in the carpet.

"Snakes and scorpions, my ass! Have you ever been to Barbara Streisand's birthday party? I'm an A-lister! Last week, I ate at Brennan's. Where did you eat? Arby's? You aren't even worth it, you filthy piece of white trash!"

He stands up and walks toward my ice-box. I try to open the door for him.

He pumps his fist like he is going to hit me. "You best step-back, little man."

I fall to the floor and begin sobbing. He opens the ice-box and steals a Pepsi.

"Look at you! Crying just like a girl. You disgust me. Why don't you hop in the shower, Nancy, and wash your muff?" He then drinks his cold drink and leaves.

I wake up in a pool of sweat.

I'm thinking of becoming a Hindu.

Suddenly, I have the Charlie Daniels Band going through my mind: "The devil went down to Georgia..."

Otis, cut back on sniffing the glue. Your starting to have hallucinations.
