is it me or has the job market slowed down?
i went on 6 interviews a week in july
with all jobs willing to hire on the spot
now i dont even get a call back
some recruiters i know said the market seems slow to them too |

| If it is, its only temporary as the uni hiring season fires up soon. Also, I would imagine that since a lot of north Americans come in the summer and leave the following summer, that there would be more placements to be made in July that Sept/Oct. I'd also say it depends where you are. I know a bunch of schools here (Cheongju) looking for teachers and unable to fill them. I've even heard of some offering well above the odds to experienced teachers or ones who re-sign. |

It should warm back up again just after Chuseok. |
