most newbie contracts offer 10 days if holiday. Now should these days be expected to korean national holidays? or should i expect 10 days (5 winter 5 summer) plus all korean national holidays.

Normally you can expect 10 in addition to the national holidays, but to be safe, directly ask the prospective employer to clarify it. In the contract.

Also ask them if you can take them when you want in winter and in summer or whether you take them when the school tells you.

Also make sure your contract stipulates that your 5 day holiday is 5 working days (M-F) . Some schools shaft you by including the 2 weekend (non working) days in your 5 day holiday.
