Hi, you may have noticed the string of "is my boss ripping me off?" questions... sorry for the barage... one more....
I just got a phone call from my director saying that if my pay increases, my tax rate must increase also. I think he's refering to my severence pay and the 800k he's giving me for airfare reimbursement. Does this sound reasonable to anyone? At what income level does the tax rate increase? Is there any rational for severence or airfare being taken into account when determining tax braket? |
