Are couple positions hard to find? My fiance and I decided to find positions for ourselves instead of going through a recruiter and I was wondering if it would be harder for us to find jobs because we are a couple. Most of the job postings I see are looking for one person. Do you guys suggest we go through a recruiter since we are a couple?

This issue has been asked many times, so try doing a search. Couple positions are relatively easy to find, but they my try to screw you by giving you a single apartment to share. I've advised others to seriously consdier working at separate schools in the same area, but I'm in the minority in that opinion.

Also, I advise completely avoiding recruiters and working with schools directly. Again, I think I'm in the minority there.
