Hi, I have received several documents back from my school in Korea and I am now just about to travel to my local Korean embassy with the hope I will receive my E2 visa stamp there on the day. I have quote...'a copy of my signed contract, my notice of appointment, visa application fee, passport and photos'. However I have noticed that on none of the said documents is their visa issuance number which I know from reading various messages on this forum is a basic prerequisite.
Could anybody tell me who is responsible for supplying this? (Presumably the agent who has mediated all the previous liaisons with the immigration office in Korea, but I am not at all sure) |

The school will get the number for you when they make the application at immigration for your visa approval.
Either the school or the recruiter will e-mail it to you. If you don't have it yet, then ASK for it.
You will need your visa confirmation number, application, passport and photos to obtain your E2 from the consulate. |
