Not sure if this was a mistake on their part, or whether they have recently changed the rules. I was fully prepared to lay down the 30000 won fee, but low-and-behold, they never asked for it. They were very nice too!
I breezed out of Seoul Immi Office a very happy chappy! |

Brits get it for free, and American don't have to apply because if they're on the E-2 visa they are allowed to come and go as they please for their first year here. |

Is that a visa extension or a re-entry permit? Are you extending for a year or for a few days/weeks? |

My renewal and re-entry permit cost W80,000 (Canadian). |

This was an extension of five months.
I also changed my E2 from single to multi-entry.
All gratis! Yey!!
