I saw some sauerkraut for sale at that foreign goodies store at COEX. I forget the name of the place. It would be interesting to see what Koreans thought of German kimchi.
When the wife and I went back to Canada in 2002, we bought some kimchi at a Korean supermarket in Hamilton, Ontario. Oddly enough, it wasn't labelled "kimchi," rather "Korean sauerkraut."
