|

I'm new to the Seoul region, and I've heard things about Yongsan electronics market. But I'm a bit sketched about buying one from there, cuz you can't return it if it doesn't work (am I right on that?). Just wanna know the best place to buy an Ipod, price-wise and hopefully it will work well...
p.s.: I don't care if this post has "been made before" because things change quickly in the electronics market... |

I was pretty wary about that too so I just side-stepped it completely, ordered it online in the States, and had my mom ship it over with some other stuff. It takes a bit longer than a train ride up to Seoul, but I knew what I was buying when I ordered it and didn't have to worry about getting screwed over by a salesman because of a language barrier.

Well, nobody replied quickly enough so I decided to go out and do a bit of looking myself. I went to Yongsan to this one place where this guy seemed to be selling Ipod Nanos left right and centre... I mean, he was selling them like hotcakes. So I figured I'd be safe in buying one, if so many people were buying his. Took it home today, works perfectly. Spent 215,000 on a 4 gig nano with a carrying case plus protective cover... not bad I think. |

Glad it worked out for you. Best-o-luck, I love my new 30 gigger. I just wish I'd waited 2 weeks to buy it since they increased battery life and lowered the price. I could have saved 50 bucks. Ah well. I don't regret the purchase, it's great.

Go to an approved Apple store where you are most likely to get after service and repairs on your iPods when it breaks down.
Serious advice. |
