| How difficult is it? I studied Linguistics as an undergrad and will continue as a grad. I'll be studying Syntax, but I wouldn't mind adding computational linguistics to the fun. However, the only computer language knowledge I have is the very basics of c++. How long would it take to learn the programming skills needed as a basis for comp. linguistics? |

It was very easy for me....no programming at all. It was mostly text linguistics. We just used a few apps.
