The only time the stores close is Chusok (1st week of October this year). |

Friday the 6th. Most stuff will be closed including the big department stores and markets. |

| In the past, almost everything was closed for all 3 days of Chusok except the random mom-and-pop place. Now, most things are open all but the "actual" day...Friday this year. 7-11 type stores will be open, plus quite a few mom-and-pop's, but the big/chain places will be closed. As for Tuesday, I'm betting most places will be open so people can spend their Chusok bonuses on Chusok gifts!! |
