Nothing a Moonie does should surprise anyone. I remember when I lived in the United States, a Maryland suburb of Washington, D.C., I saw Moonies selling flowers on the streets, even when it was raining cats and dogs, scorching hot or bone-chilling cold.
I'd say most of the money they earned all went into that phucked up church's coffers.

I was walking through DC one day, 3 years before I came to Korea. I knew a few Korean phrases, so when a Korean woman started talking to me I said "annyong haseyo?" I was eager to practice, and I was glad she was kind, so I took one of the books she had. It was a Moonie book, and it was very bizarre. Almost as strange as Falun Gong or Roman Catholicism. |
