Hi,
I haven't been here very long and this is the bane of my existence of late. I have used my dictionaries and asked a few people I know here, but I haven't got great responses.
I just need to know what are the best settings for washing a large load of mixed colours (I don't have any white or black to do immediately). I know this seems like a silly request, but I am seriously staying up at nights trying to work it out in my head.
I used the settings someone reccomended but I don't think it worked properly. I have included a picture, if someone could point me to the right buttons (or explain them) I would really appreciate it. I took a picture (it gets bigger if you click it)
Thanks so much in advance! |

What are you trying to do? Do you want to change the water temperature, or adjust the time?
I have a similar model. If you just want to start the damn thing and have it wash clothes, press the teal button on the far right, then press the purple one next to it. That's it, and that should do the trick. |

Ideally adjust the temperature to warm, but if that is all I need to do its ok. Do you know if there are different load sizes? It looks like the little icons are for smaller and larger sizes, but I'm not sure.
Thanks. |

Wait, I just saw your original post more carefully. Yeah, pressing the teal button then the purple will work fine for a big batch of mixed colors. I don't waste time separating, and colors never run. For wool, jackets, and sweaters I change the setting. I learned that the hard way last year. But t-shirts, socks, blue jeans, underwear, and button-down shirts are fine with that combination. When I'm very pressed for time I just wash all those things at the same time, no problem.
Do you know where to put the detergent? When you open the door on top, at the "back" of the circle is a small try. Scoop detergent out and put it in the big space there. Inside the tub you probably have to things that look like small bags. Every few times you wash, empty out these lint traps. |
