Huh? I just sent a suggestion as to why there may be vacancies. That's why I would pass on the job. Confused

Ah, okay. I thought you were asking where it was.

I haven't seen any ads for it, but I think I'd pass on a university job unless I were teaching an actual subject (i.e., not "English conversation").

I've seen the university. It is pretty big. They probably have a foreign staff of 15 - 20.

I've asked around for you here in Cheongju. The word is they must be opening a new segment, but no definitive answers. But, it wouldn't hurt to call them when they return and ask, they are generally nice over there.

I interviewed there this last January, but the pay was not great and so I kept my job. This may be part of why they're suddenly having such a turnover. They were very nice in the interview, though, and the facilities were good.

Unfortunately, more times than not uni's pay less than expected for such a "prestigous" position.. <cough>. I'd gawk at them back in the USA for such a low pay offer, but I'm not there and of course it's not the same.
Good Luck!
