Anyone know of a place where it's possible to go Karting in Seoul or Gyeonggi-do? Also, how much would it be for an hour of Karting?
Thanks! |

There was a great article about this in the JungAng Daily inside the IHT on Friday. It was page 10. Stupidly, I threw it out. If anyone has that paper, could ya scan it in, or find a link to it? I'm sure there is the info on the paper's website, but I don't know what it is.
I'll check that and be back.

Good link, but in the actual paper, there was a list of places around the country with phone numbers and such. I didn't see that there. Anyone still have the paper?

There is a place in Paju right next to the Odusan Unification Observatory. Its called Kartland. http://www.kartland.co.kr/ It is also, in my opinion, a piece of crap. Its a tiny track and you only get about 6-7 mins for 10,000. However they do allow you to rent professional go-karts and have the whole track to yourself. So if you have enough people you might be able to rent the whole course for an hour or so.
Otherwise its not worth the trip. It takes one hour by bus from Daehwa station in Ilsan, which is the last stop on the orange line.
Its worth going to the Observatory though, as North Korea is litterally a kilometer away across the Imjin river. |

Yeah thanks for that. I came across that place when I did a google search but it's not worth travelling an hour for 7 whole minutes of action
Anyway I'll try looking for something else. |
