I just left the season opener between Toronto and Ottawa. The Leafs lost 4-1. It was actually much closer than the final score suggests (empty net goal).

Sundin scored on a penalty shot. The difference in the game was goaltending.

Before the game there was a tribute to Day, Kelly and Salming. Being a big Salming fan when I was a kid; i enjoyed it.

Prime Minister Harper (still difficult for me to say) was in attendance and the fans booed (sp?) him quit significantly when he appeared on the screen.

The atmosphere before the game was geat. However, it was a quiet crowd as normal in Toronto. What a difference between a Canadian crowd and a Korean crowd.
