Looks like my degree has been lost or stolen.
My uni says I have to sign a stat dec in order
for them to give me another one.
How can I do a stat dec in Seoul? |

At my university it was a form I could download and fill out then sign. I didn't need any witnesses.
However, if your university is slightly different, you may need to write a letter and sign it in front of a lawyer who then notarizes it (about 40,000 won).
Get online to your university and look for their standard forms in pdf format.

I am Canadian and went to a Canadian university. I had to a write an affidavit explaining how I lost my degree and that I wanted it replaced. I also had to include specifics like my birthdate, student number, program of study, and date of graduation. I took my affidavit to the Canadian embassy, and had it notarised for about $50, and mailed it off with my fee.
It sounds like your process would be quite simular, so write up a letter and try the Australian consulate. |
