I'm very glad I never sent my original degree.
I'm glad I waited for the visa before buying the plane ticket.
I sent off my paperwork and now I find out she has to send a letter back and then it could take the Chicago consulate a week to get my visa.
It may still work out but if it doesn't I still have my degree and I'm not stuck with a plane ticket I can't use.
