So this Canadian Christian walks into Daves ESL Cafe and asks for ESL Bible study material and the so call tolerant types, lie to him and belittle him and belittle his god. What phoneys. I'm sorry but "tolerance" means unadulterated and uncensored hate of the West and especially of Christians.

Hey if anyone is interested, here is a link for ESL material that discusses Humanism.

ratemypoo.com It has good resources on phonics, grammar and discussion.

Wow.. Dulouz you really have no sense of humor at all, do you? There's nothing malicious happening in that thread.

Try worrying about "reality" instead of tolerance. It'll help you along.

in order to worry about reality, one first must grasp it....

I suggest you start at trying to do that, and then you may want to start worrying about it.

That thread is so clearly a bit of light hearted, benign, humour that you have to be WAY off the deepend get so worked up about it to make a post...

Gotta go, Jesus wants me to go do something

Of course its lighthearted..but the point is...

The people throwing "light hearted" abuse would hardly dare do the same where islam is concerned. Even mis-spelling "Allah" would probably bring down a fatwah on their heads from the muslim community.

At least acknowledge the tolerance of christianity..if you are going to mock it..

Sure Junior, you're right - people can criticise christians, because they are tolerant, or because they are part of a tolerant, civil society(there are fundamentalists who aren't so ready to wear criticism).

Not what Dulouz was saying, however.

I thought this thread was gonna be about the British attitude roward Moslems:

recent controversy over a part-Lebanese guard transferred away from the Israeli Embassy and the politician who demands Islamic women take off their veils in his office.

Honest.

For a moment, a brief instant I agreed with you. It looks light-hearted but...

The OP was looking for some help/advice/resources. Why the resultant circle jerk? If you don't have the resources, don't reply. Just leave it. If you want fun, post a troll.

My sense of humor? Yea, I am very unsmiley. I'm aware. Do you want me to be more smiley?

Hey guys! Did you hear the one about the man that walked into a psychiatrist's office, dressed only in clingfilm?

The psychiatrist says "Well, I can clearly see you're nuts".
