Does anyone else hate those Maxim coffee commercials as much as I do? At first I didn't mind that much but the more I see it and hear it the more I can't stand it. Why is it always the same song and why do they always start them with a plate of glass between them? At the bookstore. At the castle, why are they there?

While I'm at it. I don't really like the Hazzy's commercials that much only because I have no idea what Hazzy's is. And who the hell is Paul? They are saying goodbye Paul, right?

What ever happened to that cute Hauzen girl?

What pisses me off the most is the commercials that repeat themselves. First they run the commercial, then they run the exact same thing again! The irritating "Amino Up" commercials with that frog faced boy on a bicycle who saves the day with a bottle of that wretched swill.

I hate that one too. The way he just comes out from nowhere on his bike and then shouts Ajaja Amino Up! Or whatever it is he says. Then we have to watch it again. You'd think that companies wouldn't want to be associated with annoying you.

Nothing's as evil as the "every day new face!" ones

But the "OCN taehan mingook number 1 channel" ones with all the drumming were pretty good...

On Hazzy's, I always thought they were saying "Goodbye POLO" as in, Hazzy's was saying Ralph Lauren was out.....

But I DETEST the "Nature-al Story, the Face Shop" ... becuase you would think that if they are going to spend sooo much money on using English in their campaign ads, they would at least make an ATTEMPT to find an English person to advise them on the correct words. Nature-al? Come on.......

Let's see...

Helico Factor Project Will (I still don't know what they're selling)
any of those Lotto commercials
any ramyun commercial (except the one where the woman looks like she's giving a blowjob... hilarious!)
Korean Airlines (that damn song runs around my head for hours afterwards... sarang-eun, sarang-eun, SA!RANG!EUNNNN!)

the award for most annoying comemrcial:
the "Dokdo is Korean" commercial, spoken in the many languages of the world so everyone knows that *something* (never explained) belongs to Korea. It was on CNN when I saw it. And it must be true... they got ȼ to speak the Korean language part of the commercial. A big star like that (that no one outside of Korea actually knows) will be sure to change the minds of people around the world. If they actually knew and cared what the commercial was talking about.

Funniest commercial I remember? ȣ dressed in a funky cupid outfit suspended on a wire so he can fly around selling Chupa Chups. Just about busted a gut watching this fat guy fly around like Tinkerbell.

And I still love the Anthrax ninja pn AFN.

There's a chromed, giant egg heading down the road small-end first. It gleams, it's night, city lights reflecting off its mirrored surface. It floats, fast, having no wheels. Like a UFO going down the road pretending to be a car, except it's egg-shaped, not saucer shaped.

It's some kind of ad for a car.

People look at the egg speeding along with awe, of course. And transfer the awe to the car the ad's for, supposedly. But I just wonder what the damn egg has to do with anything.

Plus the soundtrack is annoying, as the egg glides along. Piston pumping, jiggly, cutesey-nervous music. 50's SF music, the wavering of a violin bow drawn across a trembling carpenter's saw, would be appropriate.

Anyway, I can't stand that friggin ad Twisted Evil

There are currently two commercials that I have to turn the channel on:

Outback Steakhouse. The dude at the beginning ... why the goofy smile and ugly hat? And the whistling, oh the whistling.

The other one is an ad for some kind of special kimchi microwave or something. It features an otherwise cute little girl crunching loudly on kimchi, and the way the person says "kimchi" in the commercial .. it's so loving, you'd think it was her child's name. And the kid gnawing away right up in the camera. Then it ends with the saying "The Original Shintank" or something. I hate that commercial.

repeat commercials, especially annoying ones...and dang...in the theater too. most annoying...the men's facial cream with the Korean Soccer hero Ahn who passes another (famous) actor and they look like they are checking each other out (Hey big boy).

Funniest, and it had been a few years ago, was a girl on the toilet crying and talking to her friend on the cel while using all the tissue to blow her nose and wipe away tears. At the end you see her panties hanging on the flagpole to dry because she used up all the tissue. I think it was a cel commercial
