Hey all!
I'm looking to buy a cigar humidor, but haven't been able to find a thing. Preferably in Korea, but online is fine too is shipping isn't ridiculous--I like to use puroexpress, and they have a much of humidors, but they will only ship them to US/Canada.
Any advice? Thx! |

You'll have a tough time unless you want to go high end AND pay top buck, in which case you can hit up one of the places in the hotels.
Your best bet is to find someone that will let you use their APO box so that you can have one shipped over here to you. I would STRONGLY suggest using E-Bay. Most of the standard humidors you can buy "cheaply" off of discount sites can be had cheaper off of E-Bay.
Your next best option is to just buy cheap off of E-Bay, and find a seller that will ship to Korea. Just make sure that the total, including shipping, is listed as under 100 bucks to avoid paying insane duty fees. Even if you are going for a standard, no-name, cheaper humidor, you will still end up saving.
I'd suggest going for a decent Diamond Crown off of E-Bay for a starter. You can get them for cheaper than you'd pay for a cheap humidor on a discount site, and as long as you are paying the shipping, why not?
To close: I'm sure you probably have a line on stoggies here, but DON'T buy from anywhere in Itaewon unless you are really a) a VERY occasional cigar smoker, or b) really in a pinch.
Go to: www.cigarsofhabanos.com or www this place tends to be a buck a stick under other places, and delivers to your door for FREE! The 'downside', if you want to look at it that way, is that you have to order by the box. But with your own humidor, why not? Cheers, and enjoy. |
