I went to the bank today to get some information on my account/credit card. The woman I was dealing with was very nice and asked me to have a seat at her booth. She opened my account on her computer and her English was good enough to successfully answer my questions. BUT, in the process, she also said:
*Oh, you make 2.5 mill a month? Oh, very rich girl! Very much! laugh laugh laugh
*Oh, you spend 250 000 on shoes? Wow, so expensive, you like shopping? laugh laugh
*Why did you deposit 2 000 000 in cheques? (ME: "Oh, I recently changed banks and this was what was remaining when I closed my account")
*HER: "why did you change banks?" (ME: thinking, "WTF? *beep* she is nosy....."I don't know")
*Are you married? Oh, you don't like men? extra loud laugh

OMG!!!!
actually I didn't really care, I could have not-answered any of the questions, it was a very interesting reminder about cultural appropriateness! Shocked

Perhaps you could just take this with a grain of salt and move on..it is a funny story to tell and basically had no real impact on your life besides a mild and temporary annoyance....

A little off the chain there, Homer. That advice you gave to her would be better suited to you in regards to this thread, don't you think? Except maybe the funny story part, because you reading a thread wouldn't be a fun story to hear.

Why are you spending 250,000 on shoes?

How much total do you have saved up so far?

Or stab her in the eye with one of those pens they have leashed to the desktop.

Let's see, what would be a topical (relevant to the theme of this thread) reply????

MIND YOUR OWN FUCKING BUSINESS!!! LOL

But if you must know, I bought my first paid of shoes in 2 years, cost 120,000won, plus a wallet for a present for my brother, plus shoe cleaner, some socks and a shoe horn = a lot of money.

HOW MUCH DO I HAVE SAVED? cheeky, cheeky monkey! (not a lot but not a little hehe).

Shhheeesh, some people......

A pair of jeans (size: 32) and a grey PING T-shirt (size: large).

Furthermore, I'm listening to the Stones' 19th Nervous Breakdown and drinking a Krombacher.
