How do I get espn @tvu?
I think I have C&M cable, it's terrible. One of my "Catch On" channels has horrible sound.
They took off the PLAYBOY channel, I guess their partnership with SKY TV went sour?
What the heck do I do?
AFN don't show the NFL games on Monday mornings anymore.
How can I watch the Monday morning NFL games in Seoul/Itaewon? |

Just go to www.viidoo.com and watch. It is free. Just have to install the player. |

off topic, but the quality of ESPN on viidoo is really poor for me. There are so many glitches, starts and stops, and delays that it's unwatchable. The other channels are fine: anyone else have this problem watching ESPN? |

TVU works fine for me, some channels are better than others, but ESPN is fine. Soemtimes a few clicks of the refresh button helps. You really must have a ultra-fast internet connection. Plus, I figure I can't complain about technology that allows to me watch NFL and Sportscenter in Korea. It's not perfect, but its still my favorite find this year. |

I don't have a computer!
How do I see the NFL on TV?
AFN does not show it on the regular channel, only to the those with Military connections.
Such as AFN "sports" which is not offered to the public(us Teachers who subscribe with C&M cable). |

You could go to the website, check what time the games are on viidoo. Then you could go to a PC room, download viidoo, and watch games there. Some PC rooms let me download and run programs, so that could work. If you're in Seoul/Gyeonggi, I guess it's what 1,300 won an hour? Out in the boonies it's 500. |

Maybe you're doing this already, but I watch with the player straight off the website and it has been updated recently. When I used to watch as a stand alone player it wasn't as good as directly on the website. |

yeah watched that game too, that was the easiest game of the week to pick vs the spread, Saints getting 3 points at home on MNF and the first home game in a year? Man somebody was stupid setting that line.
was the fix in on that one and they didn't bother to tell Vegas? |

For those of you who are talking about the poor quality of the TVU player, here's a post from another thread that solved 99% of my issues.

You can watch TVU in Windows Media Player which seems to be a better picture than the TVU player with no buffering problems.
In order to do it you must have the TVU player on and tuned to a station.
put this url into wmp and all media will stream through it. Since you will have 2 audio streams you can mute the 1 in TVU
click on file- click on open url then copy this url in http://127.0.0.1:8901/
If you dont have TVU you can get it here. All major US networks including ESPN and HBO

On Sunday morning I watched the Notre Dame comeback win along with a couple of other college games. The pics froze 2 or 3 times for maybe 30 seconds total. The only drawback was in changing channels. I clicked 'stop' on the Media Player, then changed the channel on TVU and re-opened the URL on Media Player. Although a slight pain in the neck, it beats the alternative of TVU going dead at the most critical times. Here's the link to the thread on improving the quality: http://www.eslcafe.com/forums/korea/viewtopic.php?t=66697&highlight=tvu+player |

It seems there are more free options available for those of us who want to watch a few NFL games every weekend. Check out these links from the TVU forums page:

It seems that someone is trying to set up P2P broadcasts of all NFL games every weekend. For anyone interested in east-coast teams, we've been pretty much out of luck because of TVU's use of west-coast channels. I haven't tried any of the suggested links yet, but I'll be sitting in front of my computer Monday morning to give it a shot. |

Is SBS sports the only cable station here that broadcasts NFL games? What about Monday Night Football, is it on over here? |
