Hello.
I'm new to this board. I just accpeted a job at the LCI Kids Club in Masan, South Korea. I will be starting around the begining of November. So far all of my research has been good.
Can anyone tell me anything more about the school and the area?
The only thing I'm worried about is that is not a scam and that I will be getting paid regularly and on time.
Anything that you've heard or know....greatly appreciated.
Thank you. |

Well if you accepted the job there's not a lot you can do now. You shoudl ask for advice before you accept. If you did you'd hear what's been said time and time again about Kid's club chains.
"Usually they suck, but you might get a good school with a sane boss."
I doubt it. The thing about chain schools....they have to pay for the name.
It's pretty expensive from what I've heard. So the owner is usually some rich a$$ wanting to get richer. So his #1 priority is not you, it's not the kids, it's not their education...it's getting as many of the little buggers they can get and making as much $ as they can. Sucking up to every mom is a must. So if you have a low level kid and a high lvl kid in the same class, the boss will say "The teacher will make the class harder/easier" while not telling you a thing. Then when something goes wrong and enrolement drops 0.05% , damn dude...it's your fault. |
